ABOUT EDITOR'S HOUSE

Editor's House is an exciting opportunity for photographers and film makers to come together to learn, connect, dine and collaborate against the backdrop of a beautiful London Georgian townhouse.

The concept of Editor's House stemmed from a desire to bring together photographers and creatives from different backgrounds to enjoy meaningful conversation and networking within an intimate space that feels like home. Hosted by Benjamin Wheeler, this one-day event aims to leave guests inspired and equipped with the tools to achieve consistency in their photography to further develop their own business within the luxury wedding industry.

Conversation throughout that day will be hosted by Annabel Beeforth, founder of successful online resource, podcast and wedding directory, Love My Dress. Benjamin will first introduce his artistic, honest and relaxed approach to photography; the foundations of his business. Together, conversations will explore process, workflow and how his background in fashion along with an editorial approach, continues to influence his work today. We will go deeper into the balance of emotive storytelling and harnessing technical understanding, how finding a recognisable identity in your wedding photography, leads to couples to trust your vision, propelling you to another level in your own business.

within an intimate London location, focused on LEARNING, togetherness & CONNECTION

WHO WILL BE THERE WITH US?

We are so excited to have several of Europe's leading wedding industry talent joining us for the first Editor's House, including husband and wife photography duo The Curries. Gillian and Chris have established themselves internationally over the last decade, shooting over 350 weddings across the globe, and describe themselves as artists who "get our kicks from creating honest, modern photographs that tell stories." Their timeless approach to capturing a wedding day is second to none.

Together we shall have an open discussion on elevating your work in a crowded market, driving creativity and staying true to an artistic vision within a busy wedding schedule. We will talk through strong curation, tone of voice, understanding colour palettes and use of black and white, along with balancing an organic approach with a strong technical understanding. We will explore how this leads to an authentic collection of moments that tell a story and truly present your own artistic vision and inspiration, as the very essence of your work.

Michelle Kelly is one of Europe's leading luxury wedding planners and her wedding planning and design boutique Pocketful of Dreams has become one of the most recognisable names in industry. Very much like Benjamin and The Curries, Michelle prides her business on being "inspired by the beauty of nature and wide open spaces, our style is organic, elegant and understated. Combining an artful, refined and natural design aesthetic with a love of cultivating richly-authentic experiences."

Together we shall open up discussions and field questions on finding a voice in the luxury market, consistently delivering artistic and purposeful work to couples in high-pressure scenarios and cultivating relationships within the wedding industry to further benefit your business.

3-course

seasonal LUNCH

Editor's House aims to be a relaxed, informal and open space for networking with industry friends. We shall continue conversation through a specially curated 3-course seasonal lunch provided by The Food Initiative, renowned for their unique and emotive approach to food. Paired with wine by the sommelier, this bespoke British menu will provide further opportunity for guests and hosts to meet, connect and share their experiences from across the world.
